Forex Brokers
The Forex market is the largest market dealing in foreign currencies. Whenever you are buying, selling or exchanging currencies, Forex is the market that you are getting involved with. As this market has extreme liquidity and there are innumerable buyers and sellers here, the transaction that it covers everyday is more than three trillion US dollars.
The main participants are the government and multinational companies, banks and the retail Forex brokers. They are one of the prominent participants of Forex trading who helps the general buyers and sellers complete their deals successfully.
There are two types of Forex brokers in the market. One of them is the type who offers the speculative trading opportunities to their clients. They provide the brokerage services to the customers who need help in trading in the forex market. The other type of brokers is the ones who offer the delivery services as in delivering the purchased currencies to the bank accounts of the client. These retail Forex brokers are also called the market makers. They are no where nearly as big as the other participants but they still handle a good fraction of the market, so even they are much smaller they still play a key role in the Forex trading.
According to the updates from CNN, the Forex brokers deal in a nominal percentage of the total volume of total retail business. Still they deal with in at least $25 to $50 billion on a daily basis. This is almost two percent of the total market volume. The Forex brokers are not directly involved in the trading. They earn their money assisting the clients indirectly. They often use the banks as a media to trade. But there are cases where scams take place while carrying out the transactions through the Forex brokers.
